Redwood is focused
At Redwood Wellness Partners, employee wellness programs are all we do. We don't try to sell you ancillary products or services, Insurance, Payroll applications or anything else for that matter. Our entire medical staff is directly employed by Redwood.
Redwood is medically state of the art
- We constantly adapt our protocols to the recommendations of the US Preventive Services Task Force, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute. In some case we even go beyond their recommendations to ensure our participants receive the highest standard of diagnostics.
- We insist on using venipuncture for our screenings, because we feel that the often advocated fingerstick method is unreliable for trending over time and does not provide a comprehensive picture. For instance it is not possible to get a complete CBC and comprehensive metabolic panel through fingerpricks
- We analyze the medical history in great detail. Our medical history form is an extensive health risk assessment that covers personal and family medical history, current conditions and medications, lifestyle habits and screenings for sleep apnea, depression, etc. When we find an issue that requires referral to a physician we are able to provide a pre-screened, prioritized patient history that enables the physician to focus on the patient; medicine not administration.
Redwood is secure
We take the protection of your data seriously:
- Redwood’s servers are located in a locked, access controlled environment with video surveillance and 24/7 monitored intrusion and fire detection
- Our datacenter has redundant power (and redundant backup power), and redundant climate control
- Your data is stored on encrypted disks, never unencrypted or locally
- Data is backed up daily onto encrypted backup media with copies both onsite and offsite in fire-proof locations
Redwood is compliant
Of course Redwood is compliant. We follow participant privacy regulations (HIPAA, GINA, etc) to the letter. All our processes are documented and audited annually.
Redwood is insured
We just mention it because not everyone is. We carry malpractice insurance as well as general liability, workers compensation, etc.
